Sync from OneLake

> By double-clicking, you can download any file from the File Explorer to your local storage.

In which scenarios is it used?

OneLake File Explorer simplifies data access, accelerates workflows, and makes cloud-based data management accessible to everyone. xlxs, csv, or json files (whether we like it or not) are indispensable data repositories for business units. For this reason, quick data uploading and transformation can improve collaboration processes and access within your team.

Administration

Tenant Admins can restrict access to the OneLake File Explorer application through the Microsoft Fabric Admin Portal. If this feature is disabled, no users in the organization will be able to launch the OneLake File Explorer application.

Files previously downloaded to users’ computers or local placeholders will remain intact. However, data synchronization between these files and OneLake will be stopped.
