File Explorer and Microsoft Fabric&nbsp;Sync<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&gt; With this two-way synchronization, you can upload new data and overwrite existing files as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-images-1.medium.com\/max\/750\/1*aXjfbU9mgPDQGBzxyIYFmQ.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&gt; Any new file or table you add to the OneLake can also be viewed in the File Explorer through the sync process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-images-1.medium.com\/max\/750\/1*4LLQHk83jIOA_bJK8zaVGQ.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sync from&nbsp;OneLake<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">&gt; By double-clicking, you can download any file from the File Explorer to your local storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\">In which scenarios is it&nbsp;used?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">OneLake File Explorer simplifies data access, accelerates workflows, and makes cloud-based data management accessible to everyone. xlxs, csv, or json files <em>(whether we like it or not)<\/em> are indispensable data repositories for business units. For this reason, quick data uploading and transformation can improve collaboration processes and access within your team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\">Administration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Tenant Admins can restrict access to the OneLake File Explorer application through the<strong> Microsoft Fabric Admin Portal<\/strong>. If this feature is disabled, no users in the organization will be able to launch the OneLake File Explorer application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Files previously downloaded to users\u2019 computers or local placeholders will remain intact.
